Abstract

This study were carried out in other to investigate the fate of Nitrification in SBR system.
The results derived from this experimental study were as follows.
1) Organic removal rates were about 95% for all N loading
2) As the C/N ratio decreased below 10/1, Significant reduction in TKN, Amm-N removal :rate was recorded.
3) In case of N loading; was upper 45 mg/1, Nitrogen removal rate was rapidly decreased.
4) As the N loading; of Influent decreased, Nitrification and Denitrification amounts were increased.
